Today August 6, 2009, Microsoft has published Windows 7 RTM version for MSDN users who have been testing Windows 7 for last 2 years, after RTM version of Windows Vista was released. Microsoft has shown the world that Windows 7 has better chances to be the fastest operation system on the planet but it will be a costly purchase for you to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 right now. Because of that it is better to make Windows Vista as fast as Windows 7 and run it till Windows 7 is available much cheaper on the market.

Microsoft has almost completed the development of Windows 7. But, what are the new features in Windows 7? Has Windows 7 solved the large problems from Windows Vista? What kind of problems could be possible with a migration?

The first notebooks with Chrome OS will be available in third quarter of 2010. Google promises a completely new approach with saver architecture. Chrome OS will load the applications from the Google's cloud.

Microsoft tries to market Windows 7 as a new full version of its operation systems, which the competitor Apple claimed the opposite at its developers conference. Windows 7 is nothing else than a Windows Vista 2.0.

Microsoft has published its newest OS “Windows 7” for the public at the PDC Professional Developer Conference in Los Angeles. In my last article I talked about Windows 7 as a lipstick on a pig which is a major update of Windows Vista. In last few days I took Windows 7 under the loop to see if Microsoft holds the promises. So far, Windows 7 is an interesting release and creates hope which we can believe. There have not been many changes in the Windows 7 core but there have been a number of Optimizations. The developers were lucky and received the Milestone 3 build 6801 at PDC conference, which doesn’t include the new taskbar. Redmond promised they will publish the first major beta version in 2009 for everyone to test Windows 7.

In the next few weeks we will hear a lot about Windows 7, the next generation of operation system from Microsoft. Microsoft has started its Professional Developers Conference (PDC) and the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in LA (Los Angeles).
