What is Under the Hood of Windows 7? Part II

In my last article about Windows 7, I talked about the performance in Windows 7 and discussed if Microsoft has done what they have promised in last 2 years after Windows Vista was a disaster in performance and compatibility. In part II of my article, I would like to let you know more about installation, desktop, info field, and the new look of WordPad, Paint and Calculator in Windows 7.

What is Under the Hood of Windows 7 ? Part I

Microsoft has published its newest OS “Windows 7” for the public at the PDC Professional Developer Conference in Los Angeles. In my last article I talked about Windows 7 as a lipstick on a pig which is a major update of Windows Vista. In last few days I took Windows 7 under the loop to see if Microsoft holds the promises. So far, Windows 7 is an interesting release and creates hope which we can believe. There have not been many changes in the Windows 7 core but there have been a number of Optimizations. The developers were lucky and received the Milestone 3 build 6801 at PDC conference, which doesn’t include the new taskbar. Redmond promised they will publish the first major beta version in 2009 for everyone to test Windows 7.

In the next few weeks we will hear a lot about Windows 7, the next generation of operation system from Microsoft. Microsoft has started its Professional Developers Conference (PDC) and the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in LA (Los Angeles).

18 months after publishing, Windows Vista is installed on only 8.8 percent of corporate computers. Microsoft has extended the OEM version of Windows XP and preferred Windows 7. What has Microsoft been doing wrong?

Windows 7 Server is called Windows Server 2008 R2

Microsoft is working on Vista-Successor and parallel to that on the next generation of Windows Server Operation System. I have noted from many sources in internet that the next Windows 7 Server will be called Windows Server 2008 R2. Still Microsoft has not published any public information about this information.

To find out which operation system is the most secure for the computer users is very interesting. I want to compare Windows with Linux and show you the architecture of both operation systems in my new article.

Have you ever asked how you can get a screen shot from your desktop? There are several ways for doing that. Some of them are very easy but then they will cost lots of money. In this article I want to show you how you can make screen shots from your desktop.

Microsoft says Good Bye to Windows

    Midori

Microsoft Windows comes in the years and it is time to throw Windows out of the window and clean up desktop for the new ideas. Midori is the code name for the possible successor of Windows.

According to Microsoft, the PC-Industries have started the biggest change in the computer history. The computer manufacturers have sold more machines with Windows Vista x64 version.

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 (64 bit) seems to be the best alternative to Windows Vista as a powerful workstation. With a little change you will be able to adapt Windows Server 2008 x64 as most powerful workstation ever.

Right now I am almost the happiest man on the planet but it was not the same in last few weeks. Every time I have tried to upgrade my Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server x64 it was not possible and I was beating my head to the wall.
