The first mobile phone from Apple or better described: Apple`s first Smartphone in coming on the US market on June 29.

So far we don`t know a lot about iPhone`s functionality and features except few beautiful pictures. Today an Apple speaker has told that they have fixed some problems with iPhone before market launch. The biggest issue was the battery longevity. Apple manufacture increased the iPhone`s battery longevity from five to eight hours. The iPhone users could be able to surf in internet much longer than before. Apple has told you can surf in internet up to six hours with iPhone.

The battery longevity for iPhone is very important for Apple because of iPhone`s display. Display is the central of communication between the user and iPhone and because LCD display need more energy than it is very important for iPhone to increase the battery longevity.

Other iPhone`s feature is the music. Iphone is your music center like iPod with more features and you can hear music up to 24 hours, Apple has told today.

The second big problem was the touch screen surface. It was made from plastic but the Apple manufacturer changed the touch screen surface. Instead of plastic they will use glass for iPhone and it is clearly scratch-proof.

The US Company “Apple” wants to produce his own Navigation Systems for the number one German car factory “Mercedes Benz”. It will be a combination of Communication and Navigation device with multi touch screen said today an Apple speaker. Everyone can have it in 2009 and Mercedes may offer the product then six months long exclusively. It is a top secret product and Apple hasn’t told any details about Software, Design and Features.

In June 29, Apple is going to celebrate his new cell phone “iPhone”. It could be the biggest success for Apple after iPod ever. Design, Features and Performance

Every GPS Navigation System like LG, Sharp, and etc. is perfect on the paper. With their sleek, black or silver-lacquered finish, compact sizes, touch screen display, and good looking devices. But In praxis they are very disappointing. They are nor consumer friendly but somehow you can find your direction anyway after a lot of stress.

It is known that Apple builds the most human friendly devices in the world. They study the people and then build something for people. They have established with iPod and iPhone that they are on the right road. The Apple`s Navigation System will be a %100 communication device that you can touch it with your hands and your mind. That means it will a new generation of voice devices that you can touch it with your voice and get contact with your system.

Apple`s Navigation System will be a %100 live device system for your trips. You will be able to communicate with the world through the satellite. You will be able to answer your calls without touching any button. You can keep hearing your music and being navigated immediately after you hung up. Actually you don`t hang up you say bye and it will be off automatically.

After all it will be a iPhone Development device with many new and useful features.

Last night, I’ve been possessed with monitoring my own website`s traffic and I found some very interesting information that I didn’t know and I thought it would be a great idea to post my findings here. In order to be able to explain correctly, please take a look on the graphic below:

As you can see on the graphics, I’ve plotted the daily reach of Google, Yahoo, MSN and Live for the past five years. You can also see that I’ve specified for both yahoo, msn and live only for the search engine part because if we monitor the overall performance of Yahoo and MSN as they are not only search engines but also Web Portals, they will show quite higher stats.

From the last five years reach statistics you can clearly see the ups and downs on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. A quite significant event is the fact that Google from 2001 to 2006 was increasing in popularity, then stabilized for about an year, and now in 2007 its popularity is going down. On the other hand, Microsoft Corporation went a bit down in 2006 (due to the Google up-rise) and then in 2007 got back up quite a lot. The interesting thing here is that Microsoft Corp has both MSN and Live Search Engines and therefore their combined traffic (aka both search engines work under the same scoring/ranking algorithms and they should be considered to be the same thing) is quite more than Google and Yahoo and that’s really big thing here. If we assume that the Alexa Reach Stats are correct, then we can clearly see that Microsoft’s Search is 1.5 times bigger in volume/reach than Google and that’s really sad news for Google.

The large spike in Search Volume for MSN/LIVE is mainly due to the heavy advertising Live.com had recently on virtually all Medias. We see it on the radio, television and gigantic billboards all over the city. Also a big impact is the fact that Microsoft has built in Live Search in all Windows computers as a standard feature and we all know that about 99% of all internet users are using Windows and about 50% of those don’t really care which search engine they are using and therefore Microsoft is a good solution for their needs.

On the other hand I’ve been experiencing some very strange phenomena on my websites as I receive about 95% of my Search Engine Traffic from Google. This kind’s contradicts to the large search volume that Alexa Shows on MSN/LIVE and Yahoo and that’s a bit weird. Also the strange thing is that most of my websites rank pretty well on Google and Yahoo and therefore if the search volume is the same I should be expecting the same traffic from Yahoo as I get from Google right?

I’m really curious if someone else (like you) had noticed such funny events, because if so then we should drastically change our SEO strategies and stop kissing Google’s ass and start optimizing for MSN as we can clearly see the obvious Search Up-rise that they have. Our duty as SEO’s is to go for the search and if Google goes down then... Well who cares …
