The company logo of Apple has a very high recognition value. Now, the Apple Company disputes with the City of New York because New York City is using an apple for the logo of GreenYC organization.
In the documents of the U.S. Trademark Office is showing the logo of the Green campaign of New York City. Apple says that this logo is very similar to the logo of Apple Company. But the City of New York cannot understand the excitement from Apple.
The lawyers say that the logo of GreenYC brings confusion among consumers. But "NYC & Co." cannot see this like that. A spokeswoman for the GreenYC marketing said that the logo is unmistakable and it is not against Apple`s trademark violation.
In my personal opinions I say “kids please let us take a break”. I can imagine when I personally use Apple name into my article and say I love eating Apple, then I have to pay to Apple Company because I am using the word “Apple”. Anyway I hope they understand it is not a big problem and they can understand Apple is Apple.
