Memorial Day is not only a long three-day weekend for enjoying warm weather and drinking at the bars. Memorial Day has more meaning than being drunk. For many American people Memorial Day has a long history going back all the way to the Civil War between the years 1861 to 1865. Memorial Day is an important reminder of people who fell for the country.

On Memorial Day we have to remember and think about all people and soldiers who lost their lives for us being in security. We will think about them and never forget what they have given for us.

In every country and culture there is a especial day which people think and remember people who died for their country. For us the American it is always the last Monday of May. That is the reason why we call it Memorial Day weekend because we get a long three-day weekend for being prepared thinking about our Heroes.

At least 50,000 people get American Citizenship every year. For getting the U.S. Citizenship there are many rules but the most important rule is the English test and the America’s History test. It is very important for every single applicant knowing about his/her new country.

There are actually only 100 questions which you have to learn before you do your test but the question is: Can you learn everything about the USA and its history with only 100 questions? You maybe say America’s history is not too long but it is not a good answer for that.

The United States of America has a rich history and you learn lot about the democracy. I have started this article for people who are looking for a short description of the history of the United States of America. I believe it will take few weeks for me finishing this article about America’s History.

The United States of America is located in the North America continent. The United States of America has only two countries as neighbors: Canada to the North and Mexico to the South.
