The U.S. Citizens are likely more overweight than all People in the Europe and modern countries like Japan, Israel, and China. Sometimes when you are talking about this health problem in the U.S., some people make humor that people in those countries don’t have anything to eat and that is the reason why they aren’t heavier than American. That is absurd, because they live healthier, work less and  get healthier food at the stores than the American.

The American work more than any other nations in the world. They have almost one week vacation in whole year. They are doing 2 or 3 jobs at the same time. They don’t have any time to be at home to make a good food. If you don’t have any time for yourself, for your family, then you are stressed at work and at home. Just a small package of food you bought at store could make you happy. Or you jump over to the fast food restaurants. But have you ever thought what you are doing to your body and your health?

My question is if your health and your family is important or your new car? %57 of American answer their cars, houses, and their boats are important and %55 of those people are overweight because they work a lot to pay their bills, they are stressed at work because they are afraid to be fired and they have stress at home with their family. What helps them to get few minutes happiness? Of course snacks and fast food.

When you are stressed you eat a lot of snacks and likely they are very unhealthy.

The question is what we should do now?

Being stressed at work and having the opportunity to eat fast food and snacks can be a bad combination. Many people engage in emotional eating when they are feeling stressed.

Stressed eating is not the best way to respond to your problems at work and at home as it can often trigger even more stress. One way to cope with stressed eating is to know what your triggers are and what can you do to work less than what you are doing right now. If stressed eating is an issue for you, find out what your triggers are and implement some alternative coping skills when you are triggered to eat.

This may be easier said than done, but looking at an issue proactively is an important step towards stopping the cycle that can be so common for those with borderline personality disorder.

Don’t work 12 hours a day, try to spend time with you family at home, make good food, forget your new cars and enjoy your healthiest life.
