I am an Iranian woman and I would like to change the women situation in Iran.
I can remember excellent time at the Shah time in Iran. We had freedom; we could go where we wanted to and we could do what we would like to do at that time. Only what we have are the beautiful pictures in our memories.
It was my birthday and I was going to be 22 years old. I was walking hand in hand with my boyfriend “Arash” in Pahlavi Street one of the most popular streets in Tehran. I can say it was my best day in my whole life, because my boyfriend “Arash” lost his life the next day after my birthday in demonstration against Shah. He believed we can have better life after Shah but it was only an illusion.
It was a sunny and windy Friday in Tehran. We went to a Persian teahouse for celebrating my birthday. I still have his voices in my ears. It was a nice revolutionary speak. He was talking about a better future for every Iranian. He believed we can make a better Iran and Persian but what happened to those imaginations?
We have lost our right as a woman in Iran. The mullah regime took everything from us and it is going worst and worst. I believe you cannot make a better society with an old idea. I mean Islam is over 1400 years old and what people thought at that time will never work in 21st century.
The mullahs show in media that American, European have problem with drugs, alcohol and prostitution in their countries but unfortunately the mullahs cannot see what is going on here in our country Iran. Every second person is smoking opium and drinking alcohol to get rid of depressions. Every fourth women is selling her body to make money and survive in this Islamic society.
You just go to “Laleh Zar” street after 5 o’clock afternoon and stay in a corner and watch the people. You can notice hundreds of women who are waiting for a new ride. You can notice young and old women who are doing prostitution in the Islamic Republic of Iran. You think that the Mullahs don´t know about those problems. If you think like that you are wrong. The mullahs found out that they can control the Iranian when people have those problems. This is the only way for an Islamic Government in 21st century.
I am right now in Europe and finally, I can start my campaign against those criminals. I have lost my whole family in Teheran´s Jails because they wanted to change something but changes in Iran mean prison and to be executed.
I hope I can get help from other people who is ready to make a better life for women in Iran. I hope I can be done with my website and everyone can visit and tell us about hi/her own story.
