Microsoft provides five different versions for Windows 7: Starter E, Home Premium E, E Professional, Enterprise E and ultimate E. But not all versions of Windows 7 will be a standalone product at the market. Starter E is licensed for use on Notebooks, Enterprise E only within the framework of corporate licensing programs.
The experiences with Windows Vista Ultimate have shown that you as a normal PC user don´t need this version because Microsoft has demonstrated in the past, that they don´t offer too many useful applications for free. Windows 7 Professional is cheaper and does the same job as Windows 7 Ultimate. If you want to use every useful feature of Windows 7 without paying too much money, then Windows 7 Professional is the right Windows for you.

Is Windows 7 a drilled Windows Vista?
Technically, Windows 7 is really a drilled Windows Vista. Driver model and architecture have not changed - which was so intended. Therefore, compatibility problems are with drivers and applications are not possible anymore.
Microsoft has however optimized the performance for Windows 7. Also some new features have been added, which make working with Windows 7 much easier. The step of Vista to Windows 7 is much larger than from Windows XP to Vista for end users.

Why isn´t Windows 7 available till 22th October 2009?
Today, Microsoft has announced that Windows 7 is ready for companies, but the normal users can buy Windows 7 first on 22. October 2009. The reason is, that making and pressing Windows 7 discs takes time and Microsoft wants to be sure, that they create the right final version before mass publishing of Windows 7. The downloadable Windows 7 will be available much earlier than 22. October 2009. That means if you can´t wait you will be able to download Windows 7 by Microsoft or by online resellers.
How much does Windows 7 cost?
An upgrade, which can be loaded from the existing Windows installer, won´t be possible with Windows 7 yet. The price listed for an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 will apply the installation of full version of Windows 7. Because of that, it is recommended to rescue your important files before you start installing Windows 7.
When you start installing an upgrade version of Windows 7, the upgrade button is deactivated and you can use only the full version one. Actually it is very good for potential buyers because you pay for an upgrade but you get a full version of Windows 7. It means saving at least 60 percent for Windows 7 full version.

Windows 7 come automatically with the libraries documents, music, pictures and videos. You have also personal and public folders. You can create your own libraries and add any folder.
