IPhone costs Apple only $57, and who were dumb enough to buy 3G iPhone for $199/$299 last year, will be surprised with iPhone´s prices for this year.
If you plan to upgrade your 3G iPhone to 3G iPhone S as soon as you can, then you should expect higher prices. IPhone 3G S won´t be $99 more than its successor but $200 more. You have to pay $399 for 16GB iPhone 3G S and $499 32GB iPhone 3G S. but if you wait till December then you can expect $199/$299 pricing for iPhone 3G S.
I already have seen the new features in the iPhone 3G S. they promise that iPhone 3G S is much faster than iPhone 3G. I can only tell that iPhone 3G S is much faster expensive than faster in internet.
If you own an iPhone 3G you should be happy with it because the iPhone 3G S does not bring features, which could make a better everyday life. Just stick to your old iPhone 3G till you can get it cheaper at AT&T or by Verizon in the future.
