It happens all the time that you install Windows but after awhile you change your mind to have another name for the registered owner in Microsoft Windows. To do that you need only two changes in the registry.
Here it is how to change the registered owner in Microsoft Windows:
1.Open Command Prompt, type regedit, and then hit the Enter to open your Registry Editor (you also can just type regedit in the search box in Start menu in Windows Vista and Windows 7)
2.Open:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\
Microsoft\
Windows NT\
CurrentVersion\
3.Open RegisteredOwner with a double click and enter the new owner´s name
4.Open RegisteredOrganization with a double click and enter the new owner name of organization
5.Restart your computer and you are done
Don´t forget that it is not a good idea to enter your real name and organization in your registered owner for Microsoft Windows. Because you want to publish your private and real name in internet as least as you can. If hackers can connect to your computer they can easily find out your real name through the registry.
I hope I could give you a good advice in my short but useful article about changing the registered owner in your Microsoft Windows.
