For many years playing cards was just something old men did, in seedy gamming rooms, but recently cards have once again become a popular thing to do when sitting around with friends at home, in the coffee shop or in a casino. Here I have listed some of my favorite games. Some of the games are very easy and take only minutes to learn and some can be very difficult to learn and may take a lifetime to learn.

Snap Your Fingers Soak Them Up:

1-Full and Complete Attack

Based on simple arithmetic, this game using all the 52 cards (including as many jokers as you wish), is one of the all time favorites of children. Neither does it need any strategy nor does it require any particular skill! Full and Complete Attack is generally the first game that children are taught because it not only improves their numerical skills, but adds enjoyment and action to this process.

2-Who Lies Best?

Like to cheat and lie? Then, this card game will suit you fine because only the best liar wins. Honest? Pick another game for you will lose horribly here. To win, you must declare that you have a set of cards or a single one and then lay it down on the table. Either of the players can challenge you, and if they are right, you have to keep all the cards that have been placed down on the table. If they were wrong, they must do the same.

3-Color Scramble:

The colors are the issue in this pushover entertainment. Ranked so: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, the object is to win over all the individual cards of one of the suits. You can do this by simply asking the player next to you. The trick in this game is to pick the one color that you want, while others try and block your play. While one could us advance strategy, it is not required.

4-Three Card Monty:

Three Card Monty is a fun game and the rules could not be any easier. Three cards are placed on the table and the middle card is turned Face up. The card is then flipped over and the three cards are then shuffled. The object is to try to figure out which of the three cards is the card that was flipped over.

List of Most Difficult Games to Learn:

1-Mandrake:

With extensive rules intertwined and conditioned to match different circumstances, Mandrake requires intense concentration as well as a highly tuned strategic outlook. All the cards are handed out, and the person with the 2 of Clubs starts. So far it is simple, but now it gets complex. The next player can either place an ace or a three, but these must be either of a different color or if of the same color then it must be accompanied by a trump card determined only for that round. The others can use this card or override it by crossing it with two Kings or a Queen and a Jack. There are many more rules, too many too mention here, so just pass over this game if anyone ever suggest teaching it to you.

2-Poker:

Texas Holdem, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow Play: the version and variations going around for this one game are so numerous that if you would like to learn them, you would need to take a break from school, university or work and just sit and go over the different rules and regulations for each one. I know poker is popular, but it is too complicated to pick up. You need more than a few rounds to even play independently. I say, pass, unless you are truly motivated.

3-Baccarat:

Just like in poker, you have to study and memorize the value of certain cards such as that tens and face cards (Jack to King including Ace) are zero. In addition, you need to learn specific rules such as that if you get an eight or nine no more cards are dealt. To conclude, this game is not for beginners.
