The first critics are loud, after Google has published its own web browser yesterday. The problem is the user-license and terms of use for Google Chrome.

Every installed Google Chrome receives a digital number, which communicates which the servers of the big brother Google. After installations, Google Chrome sends information about the version and the installed language to Google. It happens after every automatic update too.

Sure Google collects more data about the user of Chrome. Also Google Chrome sends every URL and search-keys to the servers. In the privacy policy it says that Google collects all information to make better search results for the internet users.

But you can deactivate this feature anyway if you want to. Under options/Under the Hood, uncheck "Help make Google Chrome better by automatically sending …”. After that you can be sure that you are not sharing any private information with the big brother Google.

It is hard to believe but Google has developed many different free applications in the last few years which are sending information about the user’s activities to Google servers. There are millions of people who are using for example Google Bar on their browsers but they never know that Google is collecting information about their favorite food, toys, hobbies and etc. sometime you are amazed about the search results in your web browser. You can actually find exactly what you are looking for in the first page. This is because you are sending information to Google and they know what you like and what you would receive as your search results.

There are only few ways if do not want to share any information with Google. Either you do not use the software that send your private information to Google servers or you just turn off the sending information to Google in your application’s settings. We will face more and more application in the future from other companies which want to know about us and our personality. It is called the next generation of virtual world.
