Two of Microsoft´s developers and their team want to find a new way which should deliver 100 percent personalized results by Microsoft´s search engine Live.
Dan Liebling and Steve Bush will release the first version of the new search engine in this year. Then every internet user will be able to receive the exact individual results for his/her searches in Live.com.
They see the biggest problem of actual search engines, that all internet users receive the same search results for the same keyword. These scientists want to create new algorithms for Live search engine that every single internet user receives his/her own personalized interests.
With the new search engine they will analyze the keywords and the stored files on the computer at the same time. Therefore the search engine knows for example that the internet user is interested for technical and he will receive technological job openings, if the user would look for the keyword “Jobs”.
Microsoft has demonstrated a prototype of the new personalized search engine, that the special results, which the user might be interested, are shown separated from other search results. The users will be able to personalize the settings of the search engine that they can search in eBay auctions too directly from Live.com.
Still the developers are working on an automated recognition system for the news search engine when it makes sense to show the personalized results. They say that the internet users should not be afraid of publishing their personal information because Microsoft Windows will adapt and match all personal information, which are saved locally on your hard-drive and it does not happen through the search engine.
The project of Bush and Liebling could receive the big interests of Microsoft´s Chief Steve Ballmer. Steve Ballmer said that Microsoft is ready to be a big concurrent for Yahoo and especially Google in the online marketing.
Article Inspector will report again about the new search engine Live.com after we receive more information from Microsoft.
