Siavash Ghomayshi was born in Dezful/Iran in the year 1945. He started with music when he was just 14 years old. He leaved Iran to learn and study music to Royal Society of Arts in London / England, when he was just 11 years old. He started learning Jazz Music in England.

He created his own popular band in England called Rebels and Insects as a Pianist and Singer. After his comeback to Iran he started his new carrier as a componist.

Ghomayshi created many tunes and text-songs for the most popular artists such as Ebrahim Hamedi (EBI), Zia and Betty. Siavash Ghomayshi created his first text-song for "Schiffer" for Zia when he was just 14 years old.

He preleased his first Album Farangis during Shah Pahlavi in 1972. He lived in Iran till he was 34. He has been living in the United States for over 28 years because of security problmes in Iran.
