Windows 7 in Modular form
Microsoft has published this idea making an operation system with modular features in the year 2007. The entire idea sounds very nice and interesting. Windows 7 will have a core module and it will take only 40 MB space on your hard drive. Then you will be able to add new modules which you need and anytime you can take your added modules off again if you think it is not what you were looking for.
It will work like Add-On which we know from other software such as Adobe Photoshop. You can always add something new to your existing Photoshop without installing it again. We are very excited how Microsoft will realize this modular system in Windows 7.
Windows will be Web and Web will be Windows
Microsoft is working on web applications for many years. Google is the only online company, which is making much more money than any other concurrent in online advertizing. Microsoft wants to be a hard competitor against Google and it should start with Windows 7.
The new creation of Microsoft is Windows Live and it is hard being on top when the competitor Google has been on top of any other search engines for many years.
Microsoft has more users than Google and Yahoo only with Hotmail and Live Messenger but it has to be changed, said Microsoft Chief Ballmer. Microsoft will be a connection point with Windows 7 between users and online services. In an internal document from last year described senior Microsoft employees their plans. In an internal document from last year, a senior Microsoft employee described their plans.
Microsoft is working right now on a new application which is called “Live Mesh”. Live mesh should make the connection between Windows 7 with all other online services much easier than before. Nothing can be difficult for Windows 7, says Microsoft employee.
Security in Windows 7
Security for Windows users is very important for Microsoft and they want to realize it with Windows 7. Microsoft has started it with Windows Vista and they are improving the security for Windows 7 which we know from Windows Vista. Microsoft is sure that Windows 7 won´t need any other security applications such as MacAfee or Symantec.
Backward compatibility in Windows 7
The biggest obstacle of fundamental changes in Windows 7 is the imperative need for backward compatibility with earlier versions of the operating system. Windows "7" will work with old programs work smoothly with the knowledge virtualization technologies.
Windows 7 will simulate a virtual environment, in which the older application can be run easily in the environment in which they were developed. That mean if you are running Windows 7 on your computer and you would like to install an older application which was created and developed in the year 1998, then Windows 7 will simulate an environment which will work like Windows at that time. Because of that, you will be able to use your older applications without any problem, which we have had with any other Windows and specially with Windows Vista.
Design in Windows 7
Right now we cannot talk about the actual design of Windows 7 because Microsoft is working on core of Windows 7 but we should be sure that Microsoft will publish the new operation system for developers and partners in fall 2008. I am sure we will be able to download Window 7 in fall 2008.
I hope I could make it clear which feature Windows 7 will bring with itself. Sure I will publish more details about Windows 7 in the future and I am sure I will upload Windows 7 for everyone on the server that everyone can download Windows 7.
