Being free of cords and cables is wish for every computer user. Microsoft wants to make it easier with Windows 7 for being free and using your computer anytime and anywhere without using any cord. Microsoft is improving the WLAN features in Windows 7. The new team development for Windows 7 wants to increase using many different WLAN connections at the same time and they believe it will be possible with Windows 7.
This would connect multiple PCs without a traditional access point and so even making a big wireless network without using known necessary infrastructure. If every single computer can work as a router or access point then there is no need for a separate device.
With Windows 7 you will be able combining many WLANs at the same time and you can add all internet bandwidths together and make a faster internet connection.
In fact, wireless connectivity is playing a very important part of Windows 7 development and Bill Gates has made many time various statements about the WLAN features in Windows 7. Bill Gates has repeatedly spoken that the communication between users in a wireless network will work better with Windows 7 and it is very important for Microsoft.
Touch your Computer with Windows 7
Another favorite topic for Bill Gates is the forms of interaction between humans and computers. He has had this idea for many years. If Microsoft could realize his ideas, then we would have Tablet PCs serving with the pens or the fingers long time ago. To date, the Tablet PCs are actually nothing more than laptop computers with touch screen – But the problem is the traditional mouse and keyboard. Anything could replace these two important input devices.
Even Microsoft's own product "Surface" can guess how we will operate computers with Windows "7". It is a kind of table with a large touch screen display. Inside is a current Vista computer along with infrared sensors. This will determine the position of the fingers on the surface and thus control with gestures. With Windows "7" Microsoft will establish this technology everywhere in everyday life. The beginning of 2008, Microsoft had announced that people will be able using computing system with surfaces which have the whole world behind them and you can get any information, anytime, anywhere from those surfaces with touching the displays.
A Microsoft developer said in connection with Windows 7 that Microsoft will publish an operation system with amazing touch screen features which will inspire the owners of Apple.
Until Windows "7" is on the market, the market should become much better conditions for devices with touch-screen, so Bill Gates' dream of a world full of Tablet PCs in advanced form may still become a reality.
