Pontoon:


Pontoon is a card game it is also known as 21 or Blackjack. This is a simple game. As long as you can count to 21 you can play Blackjack. The dealer will give each player two cards. The player can then ask for more cards one at a time until they feel they have the best hand as close to 21 as they can without going over. Once you go over 21 you are out of the game. In this game you are not playing against other players. Everyone just plays against the dealer.

 

The Ball and the Wheel:


Roulette is a very simple game to learn. The object is to pick the number the ball will land on. The numbers on the wheel alternate from red to black. This allows you to also bet on what color the ball will land on and if the number will be an odd number or an even number. These 2 bets are the simplest to win and only pay out at 1 to 1. Since there are 36 numbers on the wheel not counting 0 and 00 you can also bet on if the winning number will be in the first second or third groups of 12 numbers which pays 2 to 1. The biggest payout is 0 and 00 they pay out at 38 to 1 which means a 1 dollar bet will get you 39 dollars back.

 

Craps:


Craps is possibly the best game in any casino for the player. Craps offers the best odds in favor if the player of any other casino game. The game is played with dice and essentially players are betting on the number of rolls before a specific number is again rolled.

 

Hi-Lo:


Hi lo is a game of chance played with 3 dice. Players place bet on the outcome of the dice. You can bet on the sum of the dice. What any 1 die may be 2 dice or all three. The game is low stakes and is not a game you will get rich off of. An average bet in Hi-Lo is probably 5 dollars.

 

One Arm Bandits:


The One Arm Bandit is an old nickname for a slot machine. The older machines had a handle on the side that a player would pull to start the 3 wheels spinning. The wheels would spin and after a few seconds would stop and whatever showed on the winning line determined if you won or not. Now the machines have computers on them and instead of it being completely random the winner is determined before the wheels ever start to spin. A computer chip inside the machine runs thru all the possible outcomes and the moment you hot the button whatever outcome was in the chip is what shows on the machine.

 

Lottery:


Everyone has played the lottery. You get a card pick your 6 numbers and wait for the weekly drawing on TV or read about it in the paper the next day. In the casinos they call this Keno and a new game begins every 15 minutes every day. The results can be checked on the board in the casinos keno area, the computer in the keno area up to 12 hours after the end of the game of on your rooms TV as the game is being played.
