Surfing in internet will be more comfortable and secure with numerous improvements in Internet Explorer. And Also Microsoft establishes more emphasis on standards.

After Microsoft announced they will support more standards in IE8 then it came many critics from developers and business partners. They are saying that many important applications for businesses cannot be used any more in Internet Explorer 8, because IE8 won´t support all standards.

The biggest problem is that all those important applications are written and optimized for older Internet Explorers and Microsoft gives more value for its own protocols than for universal standards protocols. Internet Explorer 8 should support fully the guidelines of the W3C, says Microsoft.

Among other things, Microsoft´s newest browser Internet Explorer 8 supports the standards like CCS 2.1, HTML 5 and Ajax. Many developers say: This is an Indicator of something in the new version of Internet Explorer.

There are still many problems with many applications and Microsoft has to fight with that to make a better browser. %87 of internet users are using Internet Explorer as their internet browser and Microsoft should know that the competitors like Firefox and Opera are working hard and they never sleep. If Microsoft won´t be able to fix all problems in its newest browser “Internet Explorer 8”, then the competitors will receive more users than before and I can imagine that Microsoft would not like that.

In my last articles about Internet explorer, I pointed to all new features in Internet explorer 8. Internet Explorer 8 is very an important update for Microsoft because it is time for supporting more web standards. Firefox and Opera have done in the past and still doing. Microsoft invented some new functionality what you cannot find it in the competitor’s products.
