I have only one thing to say: If you want to be successful in your life you have to be focused on your Goals.
I am also the Founder of Article Inspector
The most asked question about iTunes and iPod is if there are any third party who makes application for my iPod. Or what are the iTunes alternatives because I don´t like my iTunes because it sucks.
After Microsoft published Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows XP 64-bit there are millions of iTunes and iPod users, who are not able any more to use their iTunes to upload their Music, Songs, MP3 files and Videos into their favorite MP3 player iPod.
Apple has already understood the issues of iTunes under Microsoft Windows Vista 64 bit and published the newest version just for Vista x64. But the question is what I should do when I have Windows XP 64 bit. They didn´t solve my problem with iTunes and Windows XP x64.
That is my reason why I am writing this article that people can keep using their iPod without touching iTunes. In my preview article I solved the problem in a manually step by step solution without using iTunes. You are able to transfer your Songs, Videos and Music into your Windows Computer without using iTunes.
Now I am going to let you know there are many other applications you could use instead iTunes. They are reliable and you can transfer your MP3 and Video files faster and easier in to your iPod or from your iPod into your computer.
Imagine your hard drive is broken and you are not able to rescue and restore your files. That mean you should say adios to your Music files because Apple have make iPod and iTunes so difficult that you cannot transfer your Music and Videos into your Hard Drive from your iPod. They made it one-way-synchronize and this is only transfer Music and Video from your Computer into your iPod.
But the question is what I can do when I already bought my music files at iTunes store and they are stored in my iPod, but I am not able to use them anymore in my Computer.
I have tried many different iPod Managers but the best one is the freeware one. It is for free and it works fantastic. You have only to connect your iPod and it recognizes your iPod and you are ready to transfer your Music and Videos in both ways. That mean you are independent and you never need iTunes.
Click here to download your iPod Manager.
This application called YamiPod and I am listing the features:
1. Copy Music to iPod
2. Copy Music from iPod
3. Play Music
4. Add/Edit Lyrics
5. Add/Edit News
6. Add/Edit Notes
7. Duplicates Songs
8. Edit Song Infos
9. Enumerate
10. Export Song List
11. Export Playlists
12. Find Music
13. Growl
14. Import Lyrics
15. Last.fm

17. Playlists
18. Preferences

20. Synchronize Music

Have you tried Mediafly? The SyncClient (also free) now supports almost all players including iPod, iPhone, SanDisk, Creative, Cowon, iRiver, and more. (of course I'm biased because I work there). The new SyncClient is in beta but you can get it from here:
http://mediafly.typepad.com/cvconant_tech_insights/2008/02/sync-podcasts-t.html
I would love to get your thoughts...

I downloaded iPod Manager and I love it. It is exactly what I have been looking for. You can do everything you want without iTunes. ITunes is ok but I think I am more independent right now without using iTunes for my music, movies, and iPod.

Use Mediamonkey - it does everything that you never realized you wanted. Better yet, put Rockbox on your ipod and have freedom to do whatever you want with it, however you want

Hi Brenda,
I am happy I could help you and some other of my readers. I love my iPod but iTunes makes lot of problems. It is better having something which can solve your uploading of your MP3 into your iPod or downloading from your iPod without using iTunes.

I f*** hate iTunes too, but was stuck with it because of my iPhone, and yami does not support it. Few days ago i found an another free iTunes alternative, CopyTrans Manager http://www.copytrans.net/manager.php Not as complete as yami but works with my iPhone and it's really fast.

I use winamp. It comes with a default ipod manager, but I use the alternative ml_ipod plugin for winamp. It's gold.

I've been used this manager since I got my iPhone. Check it out at http://ipod-tool.com/ipod-software/joboshare-ipod-rip.html
It can fast copy, transfer and manage your music, videos, photos, podcasts and TV Shows between iPod/iPhone and computer even without iTunes.
So if you've had iTunes installed, it's compatible, too.
It is extremely helpful when you need to retrieve music or other stuff from your iPod/iPhone back to your iTunes.
It's a life saver.
