The most asked question about modern technology in automobile is “what is actually a hybrid car and how does it work?”

A hybrid car is a mixed of the conventional gasoline motor and electric motor. The Japanese started to call electric cars hybrid cars but I have knew that as an electric car.

The Japanese called electric car the hybrid cars because technically you cannot call a hybrid car an electric car because you are using two different motors in a hybrid car and %40 of the energy sources are coming from the electric motor. The electric energy comes from the collected electricity in batteries.

Because of gas prices and the limited oil resources in the world many car companies started to find a better way to save gas and oil. Japanese patented hybrid cars and all other car companies like Chevy, Buick, and Cadillac have to pay for that, if they want to use hybrid motors.

All car companies are investing and researching to find better motors and engines for the future and we hope for that.

We hope that people more and more use hybrid cars that in the future that we can save oil before oil sources fully run out.

Here I am giving some example about hybrid cars, why they are still not %100 perfect:

1)    There are many problems for using and owning hybrid car. You can save gas with hybrid cars but not too much. We hope that the car companies can finally realize a better and more useful hybrid automobile.

2)    Another big problem with hybrid cars is that they have high voltage cables in inside of the vehicle and it could be very dangerous after an accident or corrosion. And the car producers have to solve that problem.

3)    Hybrid cars are usually cost more than other cars. If you have to change the parts then it could be very expensive for you.

4)    The normal hybrid cars are much heavier than normal cars. It is just because of batteries. A hybrid car cannot work without batteries and batteries need place and they are heavy. In last few years, all hybrid cars have getting greater and greater.

5)    I told you before that hybrid cars are very expensive if you compare a hybrid car with a normal gasoline vehicle.

6)    For hybrid cars you have to pay extra fees in many states in the U.S.

Perhaps you will be the next hybrid car driver because you would like to save oil and money. And we hope that sometimes we could have a perfect hybrid automobile.
