In my last article I talked about Windows 7 as a lipstick on a pig which is a major update of Windows Vista. In last few days I took Windows 7 under the loop to see if Microsoft holds the promises. So far, Windows 7 is an interesting release and creates hope which we can believe. There have not been many changes in the Windows 7 core but there have been a number of Optimizations. The developers were lucky and received the Milestone 3 build 6801 at PDC conference, which doesn’t include the new taskbar. Redmond promised they will publish the first major beta version in 2009 for everyone to test Windows 7.
